In reply the Col. directs Me to Say he has written to Capt Flagg to make inquiries about the Box - He has also urged the Speedy appointment of an Asst. Supt of the Bureau for the Eastern Shore - Dr Sydney is not an appointee of this Bureau - and no office would be retained in the Service of the Bureau who is So far destitute of politeness as to treat a Lady discourteously.
