In reply to your letter of July 10th, Col Brown directs me to say, that Jack White made substantially the same statement to him, as that contained in your letter, but no evidence to these facts exists in the vicinity of Norfolk. He thinks you will have to communicate with Genl Wool to get the necessary information and sincerely hopes you may Suceed
