Your report in the case of the negroes on the estate of Mrs Anna O. Jordan is received. The endorsement made at this office on the 19th July on the Original paper, asking for the removal of the negroes only called the immediate attention of the Supt to the case; it did not direct their removal, nor any interference with their rights in the crops they had planted; such action will be taken in the case as will secure the rights of both parties. Mrs Jordons and the negroes.
