Smith and would respectfully ask that an investigation of the case may be made through other than the Bureau channels, and the report sent to me. I am General Very respectfully. Norfolk Va Sir I have the honor to inform you that your application for the restoration of your house and accompanying papers were received this day and forwarded to Washington with your letter and copy of the case.
