I have the honor to enclose your land Report of October and to call your attention to the following remarks.
Dinwiddie County  It is not shown how the property formerly owned by the U.S.Govt. was gained, it is not reported in Sept 
Halifax County - There is nothing to show when or by whose order the land reported in September, but not in October was drop'd from the Report.
Nottoway County, N. Dickerson's land reported as being restored under order of Maj Genl. Comdg Dist Nottoway - no explanation appears as to why this property was restored under the above mentioned order.
Prince George County. Mr Comer City Point 100 acres reported in Sept. not reported in October. nothing to show when or by whose order this land was dropped from the report
William Birchett 1 1/2 miles from City Point same as above no description given of the five last pieces of property situated at City Point.
This Reports must accurately account for all land reports and show how "lost or gained" during the month.

The asst Comr. directs me to write you that previous efforts to sell Broom Corn at Public Auction has not been very successful. and suggests that it be sent to Mr James Sullivan Balto. Md, P.O. Address Box 1094, to be sold on commission.

Six boxes = Two trunks (hair) Three barrells - one basket, two wardrobes portable, one Bedstead complete, one lot (small) of Boards,- two Doors, - one Bag of shoes - one painted chest

Enclosed I send you copy of order dated 30 August 65 restoring the property of R. P. Waller. I also enclose copy of telegram record from Mr Waller today and would respectfully call your attention to an extract from an endorsement dated 23 Sept forwarded to you 27th Sept also to copy of letter from Washington dated Nov 1" forwarded to you 3" Nov and to Circular dated 7th Nov 1865 all three are in relation to the settlement of rent.
