I am directed by Col. O. Brown to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 11th inst. asking for a few days delay, in consequence of Maj. Stickney's being unable to meet with you. In reply the Asst. Commissioner directs me to say that three (3) hours will settle the whole business. If Major Stickney is still unable to meet with you, you will convene as soon as he is able. Enclosed you will find a copy of letter to General Smith, also a list of Ordnance Stores.

The instructions contained therein will be observed in making the reports named - "Report of Civilians"
