In regard to the case of Richard Johns - evidence is required showing his whereabouts, and the Authority given by him to Alexander Ackis to collect his bounty.
Affidavits must be sworn to before you or a commissioned officer known to this Bureau.
Polly Massenburg's case will be attended to.

I have the honor to request that the land and buildings thereon formerly belonging to the Rebel Government, situated on Leigh Street near Adams now in the possession of the military, be turned over to Lieut. H.S. Merrell Sept. 3rd Dist. Richmond Va.
These buildings were used as a bakery and for other purposes by the Rebel Government.
