The following report is made to these Head Quarters in relation to Capt. Stuart Barnes A.Q.M Supt. 2nd Dist.
"1st That said Barnes loaned $8000-
Govt. Funds at 3 per cent per month.
2nd That he is known to have received $45. for which he rendered no account to the Government.-
3rd Sold large quantities of Government lumber worth $75. per thousand feet at $25. per m."
