The number of persons furnished transportation to places within the state, during the month of March was, adults 128, children 91.
To places beyond the State limits, adults 32, children 72.

The Asst. Commissioner directs that the "Tobacco" in possession of Lts. Harden & Fernold, and which you were authorized to sell, will not be sold, but turned over to our authorized Agent of the Treasury Dept.
Any expense which the Bureau may have incurred in the collection of the "Tobacco" will be paid by the agent to whom it is transferred.

I think this is true of those that have been living in the neighborhood of their old homes, but in cases where they have removed to distant localities they are as a rule averse to returning.
