I have the honor to enclose 16 cases of retained bounty received in your two favors of the 20th inst. the other 14 cases have been forwarded to Washington.-
Vouchers are enclosed for the signatures of Alexander Atkins for Richard Johns, Wilson Dozier, Isam Hill, Henry Williams, Henry Lockett, Albert Fletcher, John May, James Forman, and Archer Tills.
In the cases of William Lockett and Richard Stephens,

you will please give the date of their enlistment.
In Archer Beasley's case, state whether his name is Arthur or Asher-
In the case of Chas. Jarvis, please state if he enlisted with a middle name.
John T. Gilchrist, must obtain his certificate from Messrs. Brown and Leonard, and state whether he enlisted with a middle name. 
Wm H. Reid must obtain his certificate from Brown and Leonard.
The name of Edward Bray does not appear on our lists. Is his name Bray or Berry?- If Berry we must have the date of his enlistment- if Bray, it is useless to return his application.
