Your favor of 10th inst. with 9 cases of Retained bounties was received.-
The cases of Simon Everett, John W. Rooks, Arthur Harrold, Nathan Mitchell, Levin Smith and Oscar Fields have been sent to Washington.-
Three applications are returned viz:

219

1, { Thomas Allen - Date of enlistment wrong - Gen. Order No. 90 is dated August 4th 18864.- The man states he enlisted in April 1864.
2, { Robert Hughes - This man has only $66.66/100 due him - probably he only enlisted for two years.
3, { Custis Erage - No such man appears on our lists - probably his name is wrong. If it is not, we have no bounty for him.
