Captain, The Asst Commissioner directs that you make a separate & full report of each of the outrages embraced in your Reports of the Bureau Affairs for the month of June 1866. General, The Asst Commissioner directs me to request you to forward at once your "reports of rations issued during the Month of June"- our reports are being delayed on account of its non-receipt. Commissioner to call your attention to the discrepancy which exists between your reports of nations "and the papers of the Com: Sub.- It is suggested that you keep a record of the returns for notions made upon the Com: Sub: which will enable you to make an accurate report. Should you issue rations to a greater number of persons than drawn for, you will only report the persons for whom the notions were drawn- Returns on the Com: Sub: will not be made for a greater number of Rations than is actually required for the months.
