Qrs. and to give in the heading of their communications and reports, the name or names of the county or counties comprised in their Sub. Dists.  You will also see that the reports called for, are made regularly and promptly to these Head Quarters.

I am directed by the Asst. Commissioner to call your attention to the discrepancy which exists between your reports of nations "and the papers of the Com: Sub.-
It is suggested that you keep a record of the returns for notions made upon the Com: Sub: which will enable you to make an accurate report.
Should you issue rations to a greater number of persons than drawn for, you will only report the persons for whom the notions were drawn- Returns on the Com: Sub: will not be made for a greater number of Rations than is actually required for the months.
