Information having been received at this office that 5 barracks and one dwelling house situated on "Brown's Island" now rented by you, were built by the so called "Confederate Govt."; The same will be seized under "Sec. 12 of an act to continue in force a Bureau for the relief of Freedmen and Refugees."
Before the seizure is made an opportunity will be given you to establish your claim to the same.-
You will please communicate with this office, with as little delay as possible.-
