Captain,
Your Land report for July is herewith returned for correction - Your attention is invited to the following remarks viz:

The property of H. B. Grigsby, Mrs Ann Taylor and Mrs. Peed of Norfolk Co. - Edward Churns and Mary Means of Accomac County, was not reported to this office on Land reports, previous to May and June 1866 - You will state when this property was received and from whom.

You will also give the authority for restoring the property of H. B. Grigsby, at 131 E. Main St. - No record can be found in this office of any order to that effect from these Head Quarters -

Mrs Caster, 40 Cumberland St., - This property was reported as restored in Oct. 1865 - The property restored to Mrs C. was 46 Cumberland St - Did Mrs C. own both Nos. 40 and 46?

George W. Parker Northampton Co. - You marked this property, on list of lands charged against you, as being restored by S. O. 53 - 1865. - The property restored under that order was situated in Accomac County. -

I would also call your attention to the difference in No. of acres in G. D. and J. J. Wise's property. -

George D. Wise - Accomac County - dwelling and out houses.

George D. Wise - Accomac County - dwelling and out houses under what order and when, was this property restored. These items appear on the September Land report of the 1st Dist. You report all the property of G. D. and J. J. Wise, restored, except a farm, office and stable. No record can be found at this office of any order restoring the two above mentioned dwellings and outhouses. -
