Dear Mr. Seligmann:

Wonder if I can trouble you for some information about the two Degas pastels CHEVAUX DE COURSES and DANSEUSES ROSES, which you sold to Leonard Hanna, Jr., that we are using in our coming exhibition.

Do you know on what material they are painted - paper or cardboard or what? We should like to have this information to show in our catalogue and shall appreciate it if you can let us have an early reply.

Sincerely yours,
Louise H. Burchfield
