Dear Tommie:

No doubt you have read by now in various art publications that we have been commissioned by the Executors to handle the famous Clarence Mackay Collection which is now installed in our galleries.

I do not know whether you or Walter Heil knew the collection in the old days, but there is no doubt that this is a rare opportunity of a Museum or collector to grab some world-famous pieces.

The collection not only contains the fabulous group of arms and armor, but also paintings, marvelous sculpture, tapestries, furniture and sundry decorative arts.

Do talk this over with Dr. Heil and let me know if you see any possibility of doing anything. Naturally, I am at your service for any further information.

With all good wishes,

As always -

Yours,

(Robert M. Levy)
