Dear Tommie:

After the violent exchange of telegrams, I wish to confirm that we are lending you Fragonard, "Portrait of M. de la Breteche" for the Golden Gate Exposition.

Enclosed please find Memorandum Invoice containing full description of the picture and the price.

Will you be good enough to acknowledge receipt of this picture in good condition.

I suppose the excitement is terrific these days in San Francisco, and rather think that you people have the edge over the New York Fair.

All good wishes and good luck with the show, and asking you to kindly remember me to Walter Heil,

Sincerely,

(Robert M. Levy)

P.S. Do you want some black and white photographs for publicity?
