Dear Tommie:

Many, many thanks for your detailed letter with the interesting information it contained.

I am sending you under separate cover by airmail a photograph of our splendid Ingres drawing which, as a matter of fact, Mr. Neumeyer did not include on his list of drawings for the Mills College exhibition. We shall be lending a Van Goh drawing, a Toulouse-Lautrec and a small Manet wash drawing. However, in veiw of the situation which you mention, I think we would be very glad to send it out with the other things if Mr. Neumeyer should still wish it.

On the other hand, I note that you mention that the gentleman in question will be coming to New York after the 27th of this month and, consequently, perhaps it would be wiser to keep the thing here for him to see. We could always send it out at a later date, of course, for his wife's approval.

Please write me by return airmail what you think I should do in this case; that is, keep it here or send it out.

With best wishes and looking forward to hearing from you shortly,

As ever -

Yours sincerely,

(Robert M. Levy)
