Dear Mr. Howe:
This will confirm to you your letter of May 13th in which you ask for the following pictures for your Venetian Exhibition, June 24th to July 24th:-

Catena, "Portrait of a Man"
Giovanni Bellini, "Portrait of a Man"
G. B. Tiepolo, "Madonna with Child Holding Bird"
G. B. Tiepolo, "Martyrdom of St. Sebastian"
G. D. Tiepolo, "Head of an Old Man"

I am also spending with you herewith a good glossy print of each of these pictures, together with the full information which you will find on the backs of the photographs.

Regarding transportation, we understand that you will assume all charges and that Budworth will call for the pictures between June 10th and June 15th.

Regarding insurance, however, I wish to point out that the Catena, Bellini and the Tiepolo, "Martyrdom of St. Sebastian" would be automatically insured under our own existing policy while they are in San Francisco. On the other hand, the Tiepolo, "Madonna with Child Holding Bird", and the "Head of an Old Man" would not be insured and, therefore, we would ask you to kindly cover these pictures under an all risk policy in the amounts of $20,000 and $2,500 respectively.

Would you be good enough to confirm this to us.

Believe us to be
Yours very sincerely,
JACQUESS SELIGMANN & CO., Inc.
