Dear Dr. Heil:

I thank you for your line of April 2nd., and I shall indeed be glad to hear about Mrs. Spreckles' whereabouts - and particularly the date of her return from Europe, though I fear that we shall have to send the painting abroad before long.

If I remember correctly, you told René and me that you intended being over on this side of the continent some time in the Spring, and I do hope that you haven't changed your plans and that we may look forward to having your visit soon.
