February 19th, 1936

Dear Tom:

I wonder if you could do me a tremendous favor that I hope will not take up too much of your time.

I have been engaged for some time in compiling lists of all the French 19th and 20th century paintings, pastels, water colors, drawings, etc. (except prints), in museum and private collections in this country. My museum list is fairly complete, except for one or two institutions, of which yours is one. I would be ever so much obliged if you could let me have this dope or if you are too busy, perhaps you could turn it over to your secretary to do.

I am sorry that we didn't see more of you when you were in New York, but I hope for a reunion on the coast, perhaps this coming summer.

With many thanks in advance for the above,

As ever,

Yours sincerely,

(Robert M. Levy)
