An advanced study for the painting representing these two sisters playing the piano, executed in 1886. 

Bust portrait of two young women, the one at the left in profile, the other seen three-quarters. They both wear high-necked dresses with leg-o-mutton sleeves.

Signed lower right: “Ingres Fecit”. 

Full length figure of a young woman seated on a sofa, turned slightly to the left but seen full face. Her short hair is in curls and she wears a high-waisted dress with leg-o-mutton sleeves and a ruff around her throat. Her right arms rests on a cushion, her left on her lap.
