Dear Mr. Seligmann:

This is to express on behalf of the four Canadian museums who together organized the exhibition "HERITAGE DE FRANCE", their thanks and deep appreciation of your generosity in acceding to our request to lend to the exhibition.

The exhibition has been a great popular success. Over 125,000 people have seen it in the four cities. Moreover it has stimulated, as we had hoped it would, widespread interest in the French accomplishment of the 17th and 18th centuries, and here in Canada, a re-awakened appreciation of the importance of our French heritage.

It has been our intention that every lender should receive a catalogue. If yours by any chance has not yet arrived, would you be good enough to inform us and the oversight will be remedied.

Finally, by the time your loan is returned I expect to be abroad and any letters addressed to me at this office will receive prompt attention.

Yours sincerely,
