Dear Mr. Donovan:

I hope you will be pleasantly surprised to find that Mr. Seligman and I have already stablished a tentative list of old master drawings for your PURDUE exhibition. As you will expect, some may have to be withdrawn meanwhile but this way we feel you will be guaranteed at least twenty, which I recall as the number you suggested.

As you will see from the attached listing, we have indicated the prices so that when the time comes for insuring the final group, you will be posted, and furthermore I believe I recall your mentioning the possibility of purchases.

Is it too early to inquire whether you will make arrangements to have the drawings picked up for packing, etc., or should we do so at your expense?

When the time comes, we plan also to send you full descriptions with full references, as these should add considerably to the interest of the exhibition.

Wishing you a happy and successful 1966,

Yours very sincerely,

Mrs. Theresa D. Parker.
