I am directed by the Maj. Genl, Commr. to enclose herewith Second Auditor's Certificate No. 289,065. for Three-hundred Dollars, ($300.00.) the amount of the claim against the U.S. for bounty of Evans Brooks formerly Pvt. Co. "I" 2" Rgt U.S.C.Cav.

Claim forwarded by Maj. Genl A.H. Terry, and the Post-office of the applicant, as it appears on the records at this office, is "Hampton Post-office, Va.". Claimants discharge papers also enclosed.
