Circular Letter.

In compliance with instructions contained in a communication received from Brevet Brigadier General Henry M. Whittelsey Chief Qr. Mr. Bureau R. F. & A. Lands the requirements of Paragraph 2 Article 2 (on errata page 115) Bureau Officers Manual, You will hereafter please forward your returns of Quartermaster stores in Quadruplicate, with one sett of Abstracts and vouchers, through the Assistant Commissioner to the Commissioner at Washington, who will forward them to the Quartermaster General.

One copy of your returns will be retained for file in the office of the Assistant Commissioner and one in the office of the Commissioner.
