Dear Sir:
A letter this morning received states that "the Gov't. is removing sods from the lawn on the Wood Farm near the "Colored Home", to sod the Cemetery", and that "there is a large force at work there, now."

I have already sent you a telegram, as follows: "Please forbid trespass on the Wood Farm - my property," but I write, to make sure that the matter may receive your immediate attention.

I enclose a copy of a letter to Col. Whytal, which I have sent by today's mail.

I am,
Yours very respectfully,
Geo. Whipple
Sec. A.M.A.
