Application having been made by Mr. Edwd. P. Smith, Agt Am. Miss'y. Asso'n, - Rev. R.M. Manley, Supt Education, &c, Va. and others; for transportation of certain Teachers, from stations in Virginia to their respective homes in the North; - the enclosed Orders Nos 1372 to 1416, inclusive, are respectfully transmitted to the Asst. Commissioner, who will please be governed by the instructions contained in letter of the 8th instant from this office in directing the issue of the same.
