Respectfully forwarded to Brvt Brig Genl Orlando Brown Asst Com. State of Va, approved.  The property, the restoration of which is petitioned for within, answers partially to the description of two estates borne upon the Land Report for this Sub District.  One of these is described under the head of "Buildings" as "unknown" it being impossible, after diligent search, to find property in the locality designate formerly belonging to Wm. L. Herbert and "Occupied by Wm Moore, Godwin Agent."  The "frame dwelling," however, formerly owned by M.A. Williams" and described as "occupied by Son" is in fact occupied by Wm Moore and Mr Godwin, the Notary Public, whose name appears on the within petition is Agent for Mrs. Williams.  There is little doubt, therefore, that the two estates described on the Return as formerly owned, one (over)
