   This Deed made this 10th  day of October 1859, Between John Johnson and Sarah Frances his wife of the one part and Margaret Ann Williams of the other part Witnesseth that for and in consideration of nine hundred and twenty dollars in hand paid by the said Margaret Ann Williams the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged.  the said John Johnson and Sarah Frances his wife do grant with general Warranty unto the said Margaret Ann Williams "a certain lot of land, with the appurtenances thereto belonging situate in Gosport on Lincoln Street extending on Lincoln Street thirty feet and running back one hundred and twenty feet six inches, half the distance or space between said street and Henry Street; being the same lot of land conveyed to the said John Johnson by Wm B. Collins and Lucy Ann his wife, by deed dated the 25th day of March 1863 and duly recorded in the Clerk's Office of Norfolk County Court.  TO have and to hold the said lot of land to her and her heirs forever.

To wit, I P.H. Daughtrey a Notary Public for the city of Portsmouth in the State of Virginia do certify that Sarah Frances Johnson the wife of John Johnson whose names are signed to the writing above bearing date on the 10th day of Octo. 1859, personally appeared before me in the city aforesaid, and being examined by me privately and apart from her husband, and having the writing aforesaid fully explained to her, she, the said Sarah Frances Johnson acknowledged the said writing to be her act, and declared that she had willingly executed the same and does not wish to retract it.
   Given under my hand this 10th day of Octo. 1859.
