Captain:
The appropriation of 1000 dollars for the purchase of material for manufacture in the Industrial School at this place, authorized in your letter of May 15th 1867 has been exhausted and Mrs H.C Fisher Supt. of said school continues to purchase goods for the use of the school, as she informs me by authority of verbal instructions from the Asst Commissioner. 

Please inform me if I shall be authorized to purchase beyond the amount mentioned above
