the Bureau officers some further trouble in their efforts to remove them. In my opinion the easiest course to be pursued is to leave the matter entirely with the owners of the lands to remove those tenants, squatters, or whatever they may be termed by civil process. The plan suggested to remove them to the Wise farm is impracticable and unwise.

After the completion of registration and the election which will occur on the 22d inst. I think the force of the Bureau Officers, and Agent in that State may be reduced, at least one third without prejudice to its interests and that there may be a gradual reduction of at least one third more of the Agents and Employees before the first of January. However this will very much depend upon the result of the election and the subsequent condition of affairs.
