has not bartered, [[strikethrough]]or[[/strikethrough]] sold, assigned, transferred, loaned, exchanged, or given away his final discharge papers, or any interest in the pay or bounty provided by this or any other acts of Congress; and that the statement of service above given is a correct and true statement of any and all service rendered by him during the rebellion; and that he has never served otherwise than as stated; and that he hereby appoints Wolf, Hart & Co. of Washington D.C. his attorneys, and authorizes them to present and prosecute this claim and to receive and receipt for the certificates or moneys that may be issued or paid upon his foregoing application and to do any and all acts necessary to effect the purpose of their said appointment, hereby revoking all powers of attorney, if any, heretofore given by him for a like purpose.
