of work which has gone into it. He has come here delegated and sent to interview some of you to take photographs and to do a very special story and coverage on this convention. They wil help get the story around especially in Oklahoma. They will appreciate as much cooperation as possible.
(The question was asked to Mr. Chairman, Joe Garry, by Mrs. Lamont, if he would appoint new members to work on the Elections Committee if the ones appointed had not arrived by the time they had to begin work. He answered in the affirmative.
Mr. Garry: Her is another announcement. I think one of the important committees to meet tonight will be the Credentials Committee. Joe Pedro, would you tell this information to Woodrow Wilson that he should try to arrange for a meeting room and meet with this committee tonight. We will be ready for a report from them tomorrow sometime, possibly the morning. Now those, of course, who are chairman of these smaller committees other than the Resolutions and Credential Committees, I wish you would go to Mrs. Peterson if you do not have the room and if you think you need a larger room other than those you have assigned, or send another member of your committee to ask for a larger room, but I think these rooms you have are possibly large enough. But I think that is about all, now as chairman I ask for a recess until 7 p.m. but before we recess I was going to say it is very very important that you be back here at 7 O'clock tonight. It will be a short meeting but it is very important that you are here so we can make it as short as possible because we may run it over time.
(The motion was made and seconded that the convention be recessed until 7p.m. and carried in the affirmative.)
