I could not, in any catalogue I have find the name of the artist "Truth Unveiling Falsehood" - so I wrote to Mrs. E.A. Caldwell of Phil. making inquiries as to the artist & history of the painting & she very kind to give me your name & address - (whether Mrs. or Miss - I know not nor call) & informed me that it is one of a series of allegorical pictures (5 in number)" & that should I "take the trouble to write" to you I would get further information &c.

Please dear lady to give me some items of interest concerning this particular painting - the source of its inspiration suggesting the subject - how long time spent & c & any suggestions you think best concerning the figures - Truth - Enor or Falsehood - Virtue leaning hard on Truth - innocence in the arms of Virtue - Ignorance worshipping Falsehood - The child [[?]] the permissions of Enor &c &c. -

Also the subjects of the other pictures of the series & items of interest connected with them - and if you please some facts concerning the - artist at what age she commenced her art - with whom studied - how long been painting &c.
