so glad to see the picture back and all cured up
I think our treasures seem dearer to us after haveing been rescued from some terrible calamity. and I might have known that one who could paint such a picture would be able to remove all scare from the same.

I believe I have never told you how we dedicated it. I invited Mr Denio's people and my own, to spend Christmas eve with us. We had the Church organist to play and sing. And Doris sang three pecies [[pieces]] which she learned for the ocasion (one was I'm Mamma's little girl, when I presented the picture, Mr Denio was so surprized, and so pleased, that he could not say a word but the tears spoke volumes. He hopes to be able to come to Poughkeepsie next summer
