Dear Sir.
Permit me to invite your friendly intervention in the matter of the enclosed letter to Col. Moore, Ch Q.M. Va. Please read and forward to him, if you think best, with a favorable word; or, if you do not, please furnish me with blanks, and advise me how to proceed. We are in terrible need of funds.

Feb. 11. I forwarded Col. White bills, duly signed as I suppose for $3,048.55 expenses on the buildings for Normal department at Hampton; requesting early responses, either by check; or, by directions, and a new set of vouchers, if necessary. Can you facilitate a reply.

The returned bond is recd. More Anon.
over,

would it be fine to not include the grammer mark that combines the group of names at top? All names at top should be capitalized (as written) and if there is a grammar mark it should be included. ---------- Reopened for Editing 2023-12-01 12:38:50 ---------- Reopened for Editing 2023-12-01 14:26:45 ---------- Reopened for Editing 2023-12-01 18:35:02
