Sir,
I am instructed by the Bvt: Brig: Gen'l, Asst. Com'r to direct you to investigate the ability and willingness of certain servants residing with a Mrs. Garlick, two miles from Tunsel [[Tunstall]] Station in New Kent Co., to provide for one of their relatives in Tallahassee, Florida, named Oney Nash, whom it is alleged they desire to have sent to them.  You will give the names of all the parties and their places of residence.
