Head Quarters, 8th Sub District of Virginia
Wytheville, Va., June 10th 1868.

Bvt. Brig. Genl. O. Brown.
Asst. Commissioner.

General
I have the honor to request Transportation for the Teachers of the Freedmens School at this place. Mrs. S.A. Austin and Daughter (Miss Lillie M. Austin) from Wytheville Va. to Charlestown N.H.

Mrs. Austin and Daughter have taught the School for the past nine months ending June 30th and have had no Transportation furnished them. The School has been a large one and their labors merit a favorable consideration.

I am Genl.
Very Respectfully
Your obt Servant
Wm. P. Austin
