I have the honor to reply to your directions, contained in a communication from your office dated Aug 24" 1868, by stating that the Asst. Sub. Commissioners have complied with the provision of Cir. No 1, Current Series from your office as follows,

From 1st and 2nd Divisions, Lieut M. S. Reed in charge a corrected report of the day fixed, in accordance with said Circular, was forwarded to your office April 8" 1868 

From 3rd and 4th Divisions - now 3rd Division - Capt F. J. Massey in charge - a return was made fixing upon a certain day of each month for the hearing of freedmens complaints and forwarded from this office March 31st 1868 

From 6th Division the requirements of Circular No. 1 were complied with a letter forwarded from this
