office April 21st 1868 - This Division is now the 4th.

From the 5th (late 7th) Division the officer in charge Lt. Sherwood duly reported reced his report was forwarded to the Asst. Comr. May 7" 1868.

It is understood that the days or date upon which the several A.S.A.C. fixed for meeting freedmen in their respective counties were permanently settled upon, and that officers who have succeeded those who established them, have continued to respect the standing orders received by them.
