Respectfully forwarded to the Asst. Com'r Dist. of Va. Approved. In a conversation with Mr. Ayres, I am informed that there is no appropriation from the county courts for this purpose, and cannot be one before next June, 1869. The Overseers of the Poor do not feel authorized to have coffins made.
