B.107. R.F. & A.L. Va. 2d. V. 1868. Hillsville, Carroll Co. Va. Oct 19th 1868. Becknell, George W. (Addresses Capt. Austin) States he has been improperly dealt with by the Civil Authorities, and would like to have his case adjudicated by a Mil. Comr, that he is living on the land of John Wilkinson, between whom and himself, there were accounts of which he demanded a settlement; that Wilkinson refused and took a [?] [?], and sold his property without giving him a chance to defend himself.
