he is owner of a lot included in his yard
and which he purchased of Wm R. Laws
(after the Fall of Richmond) as the repre-
sentative of his daughters who were the legal
owners of the lot.  The undersigned therefore
respectfully asks that this lot may be dis-
----ed from the books of the Freedmens Bureau
as noproceedings were ever commenced against
it in the U.S. Courts, so far as the under-
signed knows and believes, and there are no 
Freedmen living on it to be inconvenienced thereby
