Dr Hunter was paid for two (2) days attendance as agent for the court before he wrote the within letter,- as his vouchers accompanying my March and April a/c current will show.

I have endeavored to act impartially in the distribution of the amounts rec'd from fines and contracts between the agents.

I have instructed my assistants not to hold more than one session of their courts per month with a view to obviate the necessity of consuming the agents
