following verdit [[verdict]], to wit, We the jury upon our oath do say, that the defendant doth detain the articles herein after mentioned; in maner and forme as the plaintiff against him has complained, to wit, one Cow of the value of $18.00 one bedstead of the value of $4.00. one bed & [[?]]. of the value of $15.00, bed clothes for same $5.00 one Spinning Wheel of the value of $2.00 Six chairs of the value of $1.50 Six plats of the value of 38c, knives & forks, Six such of the value of 50c, two baisens of the value of 38c, one pot of the value of 1.00 ten pounds of flour of the value of 50c and fodder of the value of $2.70, and thay do assess the damage which the plaintiffs has sustained by occasion of the detantion of said property to one cent, besides his cost.

Therefore it is considered by the court that the plaintiff recover against the defendant the several articles afforesaid, of the value afforesaaid if thay may be had, but if not, then the value afforesaid of them or such as them respecting as may not be had, together with his damage assessed as aforesaid, and his post by him about his suit in this behalf expended, [[?]] and the said defendant in Mercy & [[?]]
