There is no Dispensary at Hamption - the sick in Quarters being supplied with medicine from the Hospital Dispensary.
Each Dispensary is under the care of the same medical office who attends to sick in Quarters.
I have reason to be satisfied that the medical officers now on duty in the District are energetic and faithful to their trust, and at the same time kind and considerate in their deportment towards the class of persons under their care

Orphan Asylums
There are two (2) Orphan Asylums in operation in the district - both having a close relation with the Howard Grove Hospital, and under the general supervision of the medical officer in charge of that Hospital. Each is presided over by and experienced, and highly competent matron. They are in good condition, located in a healthy position, and the inmates well cared for. At last report (March 31) there were in charge of Bureau Orphans, 100 There were received during the month of April - 0
