Respectfully reports that he has just inspected the two orphan Asylums connected with the Howard Grove Hospital at Richmond Va. and finds them in excellent condition, with the exception that improved ventilation appears necessary in the sleeping rooms of the Asylum under the care of Miss Hathaway.  Slight changes only necessary to improve it.  Dr Brower has been directed to take the necessary measures to effect it.
