informed by Dr Brower, (who has been requested by me previously to report the number in Hospital whose home is Richmond) and who can be safely moved) that there are enough in Hospital, of this class, to fill the additional number of beds, I instructed him to furnish the necessary bedsteads, beds and bedding, and occupy them at once, and as vacancies occur, hereafter, to fill them. When these twenty (20) are at the Alms House, the total number of inmates will be ninety two (92) all of them supplied by the Bureau with bedsteads, beds and bedding, the city having made no provision of the kind.
