Dear Colonel
I have concluded to close the Hospital at Hampton, by the 15th or 20th inst - latest. I find from corespondence that it will be necessary to move but very few patients to Richmond.

If the requisition for the repair of one of the wards of the Hospital was approved at your Office, (of which I am not informed) please telegraph immediately to Hampton recalling the approval and Stopping all repairs - If the articles for repair are already purchased have them cease to use them - they will be purchased at a low note and will sell

Truly Yours in haste
